Digitale handtekening is ‘quick win’

Soms schuilt digitale transformatie in een klein hoekje. Een handtekening, bijvoorbeeld. “Bedrijven die willen transformeren, willen vaak uiteenlopende dingen: digitaliseren, processen stroomlijnen, minder paperassen en meer efficiëntie,” zegt Charlie Weijer, regionale vicepresident sales bij DocuSign


Het behalen van die waaier aan doelstellingen wordt mogelijk met zogenaamde ‘quick wins’: kleine stappen die het bedrijf voortstuwen. De impact van kleine stappen kan bovendien heel groot zijn, aldus Weijer. 



Het manueel handtekenen en laten tekenen van formulieren is een proces dat verrassend veel tijd in beslag neemt, en in elke afdeling van het bedrijf een rol speelt: van nieuwe klanten bij sales tot invoices in de financiële afdeling. Door een handtekening te automatiseren, kunnen zowel interne als externe bedrijfsprocessen veel sneller plaatsvinden. Dat bespaart je werknemers niet alleen tijd, het stimuleert ook ROI, verkort het beslissingsproces en elimineert fouten. 

De Duitse dienstverlener SAP bevestigt dit: “Contractprocessen die vroeger gemiddeld tien dagen in beslag namen worden nu vervolledigd binnen 24 uur,” zegt Kai Jacob, hoofd van global contract & legal information bij SAP.

My experience working for a startup

My experience working for a startup  ... & the creation of a predictable revenue stream Over the last 4 years (almost), I've worked for DocuSign, and in April of this year the company went public ( DOCU ). This was an interesting event to witness and to be part of. Going public was much anticipated by everyone in the company. To achieve this milestone, there are a few essential things that need to happen, some of the essentials are: continued growth of revenue, become profitable, and create predictable revenue streams across the organisation. Considering I've spent nearly 20 years working in Sales, and close to 10 leading teams, my sales teams have a key role to play in this latter requirement.
