Some random thoughts

I was looking at the Blogspot dashboard, and suddenly I have 520 pageviews. This is a huge surprise! It is also very exciting! Have a look at the screenshot of the dashboard below: This is comparable with getting "likes" and having people comment on your posts on Facebook or LinkedIn. Seeing the spike earlier this week in pageviews is a feeling similar to having many retweets on Twitter! It pushes you to increase interactions further. I posted two papers I wrote for my Executive MBA that I am doing at the Smurfit School Of Business in Ireland. This was done more out of curiosity than anything else. Would people read the papers? Would anyone care? The thing that really has surprised me, is how much I care! It is very exciting wen people share my papers, or "like" the blog via LinkedIn or Twitter. At the moment I am in full MBA study mode as my final exams are coming up next week, and I also have two papers to submit. Once this stress is over, I'll post some more content. Maybe I'll add something on negotiation strategies, or an industry analysis on trends in IT. I'll see what mood I'll be in at the time.
